About Us

iONi was founded in Los Angeles by Blaise Patrick, who has 15+ years of experience as one of the world’s leading private art dealers.

Blaise would continuously see works go straight from previews to private collections, and created iONi to enable everyone to experience those works, whilst also providing an additional revenue stream to artists and galleries and has assembled a world-class team of tech and art world leaders to bring iONi to life.

On the tech side, Marc Pincus (founder of Zynga) and Jacob Andreau (SVP Product at Snap) lead the product and strategy advisory board, with both the Head of Engineering, Chris Hawkins, and Head of Product, Emma Toshack are Facebook, Snapchat, and Musical.ly alumnus.

From the art world, Bettina Korek (CEO Serpentine Galleries and formerly Executive Director of Frieze LA), Sara Hantman (Founder of Sea View and former Senior Director, Various Small Fires) lead the charge to ensure iONi is always artist-first.

Curation is key to the magic of iONi, so users can also browse, follow and like playlists curated by tastemakers from around the world, including art collector Keith Rivers (NFL, Hammer Museum, Walker Art Center).
